Today we are profiling The Globe Pub.

In a city where you can find sports bars everywhere, it’s the UK Pub atmosphere and the authentic crowd that sets The Globe apart.

“Northcenter is a diverse neighborhood and we get customers from all over the world—England, Ireland, Honduras, Brazil, Australia, Africa, all over,” says Johnston. “You can get the sports bar experience anywhere but to share it with people from all over the world, that’s unique.”

The Northcenter Chamber of Commerce is proud to launch our new shop local initiative called SHOP NORTHCENTER.

We realize how important the support and loyalty of local residents is to the success of our local businesses. Shopping locally helps Northcenter businesses thrive and grow — adding to the vitality of our neighborhood.

The goal of shopnorthcenter.com is to offer our residents a one stop resource for exclusive discounts, daily specials at all of our member businesses, and to keep you up to date about community events.

As you walk around the main streets of Northcenter, you’ll see orange decals in the windows of local businesses, shops and restaurants to remind everyone to Shop Local : Shop Northcenter : Shop Here! Please stop in and see “what’s special” about these businesses.
